•Book-in-a-week
was listed for a third year in Writer's
Digest!
December
2007
•I
can't believe it but I'm celebrating my fourth year with BellaOnline.
Specifically with the Large
and Lovely site. Wow. Other than marriage that has to
be my longest committment. I'm growing!
October
2007
•Biw
has been really busy since the second mention in Writer's
Digest. The website is growing, offering more features
like a forum, blog and writing prompts.
•I've
start a bunch of plus size blogs and have also gotten a bad
case of Squidoo lens addiction. It's time painful and time
consuming but fun.
April
2007
•BIW
was listed in Writer's Digest 2007 list of best websites for
a second year!
September
2006
•BIW
has been crazy busy since Writer's
Digest listed as one of their choices for best websites
for writers. I'm so happy about this recogniton.
•WordMuseum
is now under new owners with their own team of writers so
the July issue of Word beats was my last issue. It's been
over two years and sort of a bitter-sweet end.
•The
Large &
Lovely site at BellaOnline has been rocking with activity.
I'm very proud of it's growth. I have over 900 subscribers
to my newsletter.
April
2006
•I've
had two confirmations that my BIW site was listed in the May
issue of Writer's Digest. I'm very excited about this. The
group has a great collective of inspirational writers so this
is a tribute to them. The new mags aren't out up here until
Tuesday so I'll be running out to get a few copies.
January
2006
•I
received an honourable mention from Brady
Magazine's Open Theme Poetry contest.
December
2005
•Hard
to believe another year is almost over. WordMuseum will be
under new management in January. Lori Soard is picking up
the reigns. She is actually the original founder. I've worked
with her before on the Artist Way years ago (times two) so
it'll be nice to be in contact with her again. I'm looking
forward to 2006 and the possibilities it brings around around.
Have a Merry Christmas!
October

•The
traffic for the Literary Fiction and Large & Lovely sites
is growing weekly. I'm so proud. I'm feeling the need to make
some changes so I think I'm going to slate January for making
those. I started working on my book again a few weeks ago.
Weekends only. It seems to be working.
August
2005
•I'm
busy, busy, busy. I'm enjoying working on the Literary Fiction
site. It's been interesting. Large and Lovely is crazy busy
and requires daily attention. Jeff and I took a three week
drive to the East Coast provinces along with Shelby and Suzie.
They travel well but still... Good trip but good to be home.
I sold a bunch of interviews to Absolute Write. I'll have
to add the links to those later. Still plugging away at BIW
and WordBeats. Something's going to have to change in the
new year though. I want to spend time writing my book but
it just isn't happening between work and house chores. If
someone knows a method let me know.
June
2005
•I'm
editing two sites at BellaOnline now. Literary
Fiction is new as a week ago. I don't know what I was
thinking. It's been a lot of work cleaning it up. I should
have know better. It's been a year and half since I cleaned
up the Large
& Lovely site so I guess I forgot. The Large &
Lovely site is growing nicely. I have 500+ subscribers to
my newsletter so I'm excited. The traffic is almost to 30,000
a month. So close. Maybe this month!
May
2005
•I'm
such a terrible updater. Numerous things have happened over
the last year but most recently I sold 5 interviews to Absolute
Write, one of my favourite sites for writing info. Here's
the links as they become active: Susan
McBride, Julie
Kenner, Wendy
French, Gena Showalter and Pauline Jones.
•I've
started a blog. I know, coming from someone who says she's
a terrible updater. I'm a silly girl and I like to write about
silly things. So I created BigGirlBlue
which is absolutely about nothing.

•Many
computer woes over the last few months between viruses and
servor issues. Website still isn't up to par yet. Soon I hope.
What do you think of the new layout? It is my attempt at using
Dreamweaver.
