Faraway
Dreams
By M. E. Wood
Inside yearns
A little girl
Who wants to play dress up.
Mama' clothes,
Shoes,
Make-up.
Pretending that I am grown up.
A movie star,
An elegant lady,
An archaeologist.
Freedom to be.
When I am tired
And had my fill,
I can go back to
Being me.
